What about your job gets you out of bed in the morning?
There are multiple things that get me out of bed in the morning - coming into the office and seeing and talking to my work friends, engaging with like-minded people that have the same passion for Building Surveying that I do. I absolutely love meeting new people and building relationships with Designers, Engineers, and new clients.
What has been your favourite project to work on at pitt&sherry so far?
I’ll be honest I have quite a few, but one that stands out to me was a stunning home located in Dunalley, it was so grand. The home overlooked the water with full floor to ceiling glass windows wrapping around the home, it was all concrete tilt up panels and the most beautifully thought-out design. The interior was filled with all local Tasmanian timber and joinery with fine details including the most mind-blowing staircase that looked like it belonged in a library. It really was something to see.
What types of projects do you enjoy working on?
I enjoy working on residential projects and have started to really enjoy insurance jobs too.
What’s your guilty pleasure snack in the office?
I have a few… but a caramel slice always gets me through the day!
Where would we normally find you on the weekend?
Either at the Huonville Lions Football Club or at the Farm in Judbury
